Sparklike Handheld is based on TDLAS technology for non-invasive verification of gas concentration in insulating glass units.

Sparklike Handheld is the world's first non-destructive argon analyzer. It's the industry standard for non-invasive measurement and has been used by insulating glass manufacturers, window and door manufacturers, laboratories, building quality inspectors and building consultants worldwide. With the Handheld you can measure insulating glass quickly and with high accuracy.
The operation of the Handheld is based on the emission of a high voltage spark in the insulating glass. This creates a color spectrum which provides information on the oxygen and gas content within the insulating glass unit and displays the result in the form of a color spectrum, a numeric readout and a percentage of gas content.
The new Sparklike Handheld 3.0 in the new graphite black color presents an update on the display that allows text/color inversion. Furthermore, a protective case is available.
With over 1,500 devices delivered in over 40 countries Sparklike Ltd has taken an incredible step forward with this new technology. What used to be a difficult "measurement problem" has now been solved with the Sparklike Handheld.

Sparklike Laser is based on laser technology (TDLAS) working in the 760nm range. It measures oxygen and then the result can be converted into argon and krypton just as well as xenon.

Sparklike Laser measures the gas concentration of triple and double glazing of low-E and laminated glass. Thanks to advances in technology, it is now possible to measure all IGUs without breaking the unit, even with add-ons inside. Laser opens up a new world for online gas measurement because you can measure more glass in less time. Laser operation is based on TDLAS technology. The laser beam (in the range of 760nm) is focused in the insulating glass, the reflections are detected and measured. Oxygen, like other gases, has absorption lines (wavelengths), the laser uses a monochromatic laser diode with variable width, this carries a transmission signal which allows the measurement of 3 glasses, 2 cavities and percentages of gas in each cavity. This system is suitable for the inspection of IGU through any type of low-e glass and with PVB and EVA.

In 2018 Sparklike introduced the Sparklike Laser Integrated™ (previously called Sparklike Online™). Sparklike Laser Integrated™ is an automated insulating gas measurement station, which is integrated in the IG production line.

Sharing the measuring technology of the Sparklike Laser Portable™ devices, Sparklike Laser Integrated™ enhances the quality control to the new level. Insulating glass units are measured automatically after the gas press, and all the results are recorded to its memory and are possible to be sent back to the IG-line or its ERP-system.

Sparklike Laser Integrated™ measures the insulating gas concentration on triple and double glazed units. Measurement can be done also through coatings, and laminated glasses and cavities are measured individually.
